David FranklynCOTTERILLPeacefully at rest on Friday 7th November at The Hempstalls Hall Nursing Home, David aged 93 years, of Wolstanton.

The devoted husband of the late Beatrice, treasured dad of Andrew, Jane and Sarah, much loved grandad of Charles, Eleanor, Elisabeth and Alex, great grandad of Evelyn and a beloved brother of Olive, Roger and Joyce.

David will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family, friends and all that knew him.

Funeral service to be held at Newcastle Congregational Church on Friday 5th December 2025 at 11:30am, followed by a private committal service at Bradwell Crematorium.

Family flowers only, donations much appreciated to Cancer Research UK.

I am deeply sorry to hear of David's passing and extend my condolences to the entire family. I had the pleasure of speaking with both David and Andrew by phone and in person over many years, and it really WAS a pleasure.
